Destiny Church is a local church comprised of loving, caring, Christian people from all walks of life and ethnic background, on a common pursuit: "seeking the face of God."  Destiny Church is a place where diversity is celebrated, not criticized.  While "conservative" in theology and Biblical interpretation, we are "progressive" in our worship,  ministry, and approach to life.  We don't claim to be perfect ... just forgiven.         While Destiny Church is a "youthful" church, with lots of children, youth, singles, and young families, many of our people are well established members who have been in our church family for several years.  In fact, since Destiny Church is more than 50 years old, we have some members who have been a part of the church for 50 years or more!  The combination of young life and well established members gives the church a simultaneous sense of progressive destiny and solid maturity.        Founded in downtown San Antonio in 1941, the church has moved its home location several times.  We moved to our current location on Callaghan Road, between IH-10 and Vance Jackson, in 1978.
